What causes inflamed red zits?
Redness in acne is not a wound, but as a form of inflammation. Inflammatory red pimples begin when excess sebum passes through the walls of the skin follicles. Inside the pores, sebum mixes with dead skin cells, which causes clogging of the pores. This allows the acne bacteria to develop, while the free radicals will damage tissue that causes inflammation and redness of the skin
If the infection does not develop, redness will disappear by itself. However, if this red color does not change after a year, it is likely that it is a acne scar.
Then, how to get rid of inflamed zits overnight?
There are two important things you need to know if you want to get rid of redness on acne overnight. First, redness is caused by the effects of inflammation. Therefore, the treatment you use must be the one that handles this inflammation problem.
Next, you have to make sure the pimples heal quickly. This will reduce the redness of acne quickly. There are several effective and simple treatments that you can practice at home to reduce redness in zits.
1. Use ice cubes
The fastest method is to put an ice pack on the inflamed zit. First wrap the ice cube with a clean cloth before putting it on your face! After that, leave it for a few minutes. Repeat until redness decreases. Make sure you don't press too hard, because it can hurt the zits and cause the bacteria to attack the area.
2. Use aspirin
Aspirin is not only for treating headaches, but also can reduce redness in zits. Aspirin contains salicylic acid which can reduce inflammation by peeling. To overcome the redness of acne in a short time, halving aspirin becomes half. Grind gently with water, then apply to the zit. Use tape to protect it and let it sit for 30 minutes.
3. Use toothpaste
Toothpaste is one of the drugs that is often called in overcoming redness in zits. This works because the toothpaste contains silica, which helps dry acne. However, you should not use toothpaste containing menthol or flouride. This ingredient not only causes irritation to the skin but also causes more acne.
Although redness in zits can interfere with your appearance, this is not as bad as the wounds left after zits. Relieving redness does not minimize the risk of acne scars. You need to treat your pimples as early as possible to prevent injury.
